BEE WILD HOLIDAY CLUB. A woodland kindergarten site at Foredown Woods, open for children from 4-8 years old during the school holidays. Starts 9.30am-3pm for a day of adventure and play in nature, nurtured by Forest School practitioners. For cooking over a campfire, making friends, learning new skills, getting muddy, getting active and getting creative in the fresh air. Please note, at the moment the spaces for 3-year-olds are only available to children who already attend the kindergarten. All children aged 4 - 8 are welcome. Sussex Kids Hub - Easter Holiday Club at St Nicolas CE Primary, Portslade on 7th - 17th April 2025 from 9am-3pm  For children between 5-11 years old to take part in a range of activities: arts & crafts, party games, team challenges treasure hunts, Lego, fancy dress & a free-flow selection of toys and games for children to enjoy independently or with their new friends.

Hove

Bookings are now open for Easter Camp at Cardinal Newman Catholic School by Summer Adventure Camp (Ofsted Registered). Activities (across their 3 sites inc East Grinstead and Crawley) include climbing, high ropes, archery, bushcraft, axe throwing, scooters, zorbing and much more (activities may differ at each site). Benfield Valley Project are a small group of local residents who are passionate about protecting and sharing the beauty of our local wildlife and wild spaces. They organise various events: litter picks, pathway clearance , nature walks, dawn chorus walks, bat walks, wildlife talks and a community nature day. See their website by clicking here

 

Sussex Self Defence are teaching parents and kids about the dangers of knife crime and what you can do when running isn't an option. They teach awareness, de-escalation, avoidance and disarming. Mile Oak Boxing Academy. An amateur Boxing Club affiliated with England Boxing for children ages 10 - 15 years old (16+ also available). All the coaches are trained to level one and level two standards, equipped with certifications in Safeguarding, DBS, and First Aid. The Cadets costs £5/month for 8 sessions, with fantastic weekends away (which can be subsidised if family funds are not available). Boys Brigade is a Southwick based Christian activity group for girls from 3 to 12 years old. They meet on Wednesdays Activities include games and contests, craft and cooking, bible knowledge and drill, and much more – all mixed in with fun and friendship. Girls Brigade is a Southwick based Christian activity group for girls from 4 to 18 years old. They meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7.30pm during term time. There are a variety of activities each week throughout the year including craft activities such as stained glass, colouring in, sawing, cooking and baking, games, quizzes, making a calendar, stories, camps, sleepovers, competitions, devotions and many other activities. Portslade Youth Club at the Village Centre run by the Hangleton and Knoll Project. A weekly club for young people aged 11+ where they can play table tennis, badminton, football or just chill out. There are also snacks and soft drinks. Every Friday between 4.30 - 6pm.
